   Having dominated the scoring charts in the Premier League in recent years, Harry Kane has finally translated that to international level and England are reaping the benefits.

   The Tottenham striker was handed the captain's armband by Gareth Southgate ahead of the World Cup and he is repaying that faith in abundance, making history along the way. 

   Kane scored six goals in six games for the Three Lions, including a hat-trick against Panama and, despite failing to score in the quarter-final, semi-final or third-place play-off, he managed to clinch the accolade.

'It's coming home!' - Pogba trolls England fans as he celebrates World Cup win

The Manchester United midfielder was in joyous mood after helping France become world champions, and he couldn't help a cheeky dig at the Three Lions!

Paul Pogba had a laugh at the expense of England fans on Sunday as he celebrated winning the World Cup by chanting "it's coming home".

The song, originally released in 1996 to symbolise the hope of the Three Lions after so many major tournament disappointments, made a comeback in Russia, as England supporters dreamed of an unlikely final appearance.

Gareth Southgate's side ultimately finished fourth at the World Cup, losing 2-0 to Belgium in the third-place playoff having been beaten at the semi-final stage by Croatia.

But the Three Lions' progression through the tournament's group stages and early knockout rounds ensured the country was enthused by Southgate's team, with 'It's Coming Home' becoming something of a mantra among fans.

And Pogba, who scored in France's 4-2 win over Croatia in Moscow on Sunday, couldn't help but poke fun at the Three Lions, singing "It's coming home" on an Instagram video as he celebrated with the trophy, before jokingly apologising.

Croatia midfielder Luka Modric had previously criticised the English press for a perceived arrogance after the two countries' semi-final clash, while Vedran Corluka told the media "It's not coming home" following the 2-1 victory over the Three Lions.

England legend Gary Lineker, whose name features in the song, has been one to hit back at those who have criticised fans for singing the song during the World Cup.

Justin Bieber Singer officially announces engagement to Hailey Baldwin!

It's official - Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are engaged to be married!

News had already filtered onto the Internet about the 24-year-old singer's engagement to the model, 21, and we published their engagement news in this report here.

Justin, who was apparently hoping to keep the good news under wraps for a while, has decided to make it official a little earlier than planned, seeing as the good news was already out here anyway.

So on his Instagram, the 'Purpose' singer confirms the engagement to his 100million followers in his own beautiful, emotive words.

Stating that the engagement actually happened on the 7th of July 2018 and promising to subject the relationship and eventual marriage to the leading of the Holy Ghost, Bieber writes:

Diego Maradona offers to coach Argentina for free

Football legend, Diego Maradona says he wants to return to the position of Argentina coach and is willing to work for free, as Jorge Sampaoli faces pressure to resign following their World Cup travails.  

The 57-year-old Maradona, who coached Argentina for two years from 2008-10, said it was painful to see the current state of the national team.

“I would return to leading the national team and I would do it for free, I wouldn’t ask for anything in return,” Maradona said on his programme, which runs on Venezuelan channel Telesur.  

The current coach, Jorge Sampaoli is resisting intense pressure to resign following Argentina’s 4-3 defeat to France on Saturday during a World Cup campaign that was fraught with tension and disputes. The coach is believed to have lost the support of his players with some claims attributing team selection and tactics to captain and star Lionel Messi.  

Sampaoli, though, has another four years to run on his contract, meaning the Argentine Football Association (AFA) would have to pay a reported $15 million (12.9 million euros) to sack him.  “Hopefully God will give me the strength to return to the bench,” said Maradona, whose own World Cup coaching campaign in 2010 ended in an ignominious 4-0 thumping by Germany in the quarter-finals in South Africa.  

“I’m 57, watching my country, which was beaten by a team that isn’t one of the best in the world it really hursts to see everything that we’ve built destroyed so easily.”  Maradona was a genius as a player, leading Argentina to World Cup glory in 1986 and again to the final four years later.  But his coaching career has been far less glamorous despite his stint in charge of the national team, in which he presided over a record-equalling 6-1 defeat to Bolivia.

His last two jobs were in the United Arab Emirates, most recently failing to guide Fujairah to promotion from the Emirati second division last season.
